All proceeds from this year’s tournament will be distributed to the Bryan Wiersma Fund with the London Health Sciences Foundation as well as the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.

The Bryan Wiersma Fund was established by family, friends and colleagues in 2003 to create an enduring record of this friendly, determined and courageous young man. Bryan was diagnosed with T-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in August, 2002 and underwent numerous treatments including chemotherapy and radiation. During this time Bryan never gave up hope that he would be cured. Four months from diagnosis, at 24 years and 3 days of age, Bryan lost his fight with cancer. The Bryan Wiersma Fund exists to help fund cancer research and researcher training to continue the battle against cancer in the hopes of one day finding a cure.
